Andrew T. Coiner has
been representing citizens accused of crimes since 1984. Coiner
concentrates his practice on representing the wrongfully-accused
drinking driver. Before opening his Paducah office, Coiner worked
in two large Kentucky law firms, served on the staffs of two
Kentucky governors and as a special prosecutor in the Kentucky
Attorney General's office. He has also worked in private legal
practice in New York City. Coiner is a graduate of Marshall
University and the University of Kentucky College of Law.

Coiner is a Founding Member of the
National College for DUI Defense. He is a member of the National
Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He has twice completed
the National College for DUI Defense educational program at
Harvard University. He was featured in the October 7, 1996 issue
of Lawyers Weekly USA and the July 20, 2000 Lexington Herald
Leader.

Coiner is certified to operate the Intoxilyzer 5000
evidential breath-testing device and owns an Alco-Sensor III. Since 1995, Coiner has successfully
litigated over 100 DUI cases into jury acquittals, dismissals or
non - DUI dispositions.
